The volumes of the Lenoir High School Band Scrapbook contain the history of the Lenoir High School Band. The scrapbooks contain all programs, newspaper clippings, magazine articles, photographs of the band and subsidiary organizations, snap shots and letters commending the band and its work. During his years as a student at Davidson, William Rule kept a scrapbook of significant events. Information is available on the scores of football/basketball/baseball/track/wrestling games from 1929-1932. Rule also kept his membership card to the Y.M.C.A. In addition, there are several ticket stubs to the Mid-Winters Dances. Rule really followed football in the 1930's, and there are a whole slew of newspaper articles on this sport.
